Leadership Gary Hoogeveen

Executive Vice President

Gary Hoogeveen serves as executive vice president. He joined Pilot in 2024 as president, energy to help shape the company’s vision for the future of energy. Gary supports Pilot in exploring growth opportunities for its energy business and addressing key regulatory issues in the industry.

Previously, Gary served as the president and CEO of Rocky Mountain Power. He also was president of Kern River Gas Transmission Company for four years and has held various leadership positions at Berkshire Hathaway Energy since 2000.

Gary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Northern Iowa and a Ph.D. in space physics from Rice University.
